I had a signed 8×10 from the ‘Trouble Walkin’ era that mysteriously disappeared & a Trouble walkin cassette also signed that I cant find that were my favorite items. I would have killed to have that Les Paul that was used on Rock N Roll Over and used since….Also the black Les Paul thats for sale….damn

  • Hello 3 sides,Frankie.Thank you once more for a great podcast. There is a extreme contrast between the way some artist value items, and the way fans treasure these.Like the “blood cup”that was regularly disposed of.I’m hoping nothing is left behind at his old place. I understand why these things go to the highest bidder but I wish somethings could go to people who would treasure them too. Think how sales of T shirts, CD’s, programs, would increase if you just gave concert goers a guitar pick when they walked in the door.
Homework: “T” shirt from KICK ASS tour (pre-reunion 100 seat club) I sat through 4 sub-par bands to see ACE. My son wants to wear it but the word ASS is against dress code. Got a picture disk and a McFarlen action figure too.

You guys were mentioning a flood or possible flood on the property. Is this something that you know happened or a good chance that it happened in his area during Sandy Storm?

  • FF

Wow! Amazing stuff. You guys rock.

But I am so sorry to see that Ace is such a loser.

  • Luke Williams

I own no Ace collectibles, but I would love to own a pair of his Love Gun boots.

I am a huge fan of Kiss like all of you listening! I have been waiting for the right time and place for this and now after watching “Ace’s Storage locker” on Kiss Asylum I feel this is it. I am a contractor in CT. I have done work on the former home of Ace in Wilton. In doing so I have discovered the blueprint floor plan of the original “Ace in the Hole ” studio where Ace supposily tracked takes from Elder. I also found some video footage taken of the old studio years after Ace lived there. The video was taken by another fan that had been in there 10 years before me when the house was on the market around 2000. The video is of poor quality but I was able to snap some cool stills. There are also a few photo stills on the video of the home when Ace owned it and of the completed studio form around 1979. The studio floor plan was also in very poor condition as it looks to be a copy of the original, but I have worked hard on it’s complete restoration. This is my favorite item because only a handful of people have seen what I have tried to preserve from Ace’s past. I have kept it to myself because I wanted to respect Ace’s privacy. I tried to contact him through his website to see if he wanted a copy and he did not respond. I also took detailed photos of the residence and studio in its current condition and have a photo tour of the estate. If I had Ace’s permission I would love to share my discoveries. I know this would be cool to any real Kiss fan to see because we’ve mostly only heard stories of his Wilton estate and his underground recording studio. It was cool for me to have been there!

George, great story… would love to see your stuff.

George – I know it’s been a while since you posted, but if you’re still listening I’d like to talk to you about the old recording studio. I have some information you’d really like. Let me know if there is a way I can get in touch with you.

      Thank you.

i dont understand what ace did with all his money?

  • les wadley

I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE ARE SO INTO MAKING JOKES OUT OF SOMEONE LOSING THERE HOME.I HAVE BEEN THERE NO LAUGHING MATTER.ACE HAS SAID MANY TIMES THAT ITS NOT ABOUT THE MONEY HE FEELS HE DOESNT DESERVE ALL HE HAS MADE.STILL THE REASON I PLAY GUITAR TODAY IN MY BAND MYSTIC WINDOW.GREAT SHOW BUT BE NICE GUYS.

  • Mike

Les..theres a difference between hard working midle class people falling on hard times, and someone who’s made millions, and blew it all, not being able to make payments. Then add to it, his seeming lack of respect for the band he was in, his accomplishments, and his career, and yes, people will make fun while acknowledging how sad it is.

  • Keith

Great interview. My only complaint was the constant joking while Frankie was talking and giving good info.

  • Adam K

So when and where can we get this NY Steel performance???

I’ve been wanting it for years.

    • Michael

Ace doesn’t want to release from what I have been told.
