Where’s Drago? Allan Tucker Talks with Us About Recording the Debut KISS Album

Episode 63, February 18, 2014. 40 years ago today KISS released their landmark debut album. On the back of the album one of the credits said “Where’s Drago?” Who is Drago? What did he do? Who named him Drago and what does Drago mean? Well Mitch Lafon found him, Allan Tucker. Allan worked at Bell Sound Studios and he talks about the band recording their debut album.

Michael, Mitch and Tommy put in hours every week to record, produce and promote Three Sides Of The Coin. We don’t have any advertisers or sponsors and would love to keep it that way. Another great episode and its nice to hear about the creation of the first KISS album which is something that I hardly ever hear about.

A guest that I would love to see on hear is the ghost keyboard player Gary Corbett. He was on Decibel Geek and I only caught about 10 mins or so before going to work, but it sounded good. And besides, the late 80’s I find is a rather interesting time in KISStory (trend chasing, Eric’s unhappiness/sickness etc.). Just a suggestion.

Keep up the great work and I look forward to next week!
